How can I redeem my gift card?
Gift cards can be used towards activities at any of Treetop Trekking's locations in Ontario. To redeem your gift card, please make an online reservation, and be sure to insert the appropriate gift card promotion code in the promo code field. To find your promo code, check the fine print on your gift card. You may also book in over the phone, by calling the park that you would like to visit directly.
How do I check the balance on an existing gift card?

Can I purchase a physical gift card instead of receiving an eGift card?
No, we have now tranistioned to only selling eGift cards, as most people find these more convenient.
Can I load a custom amount onto a gift card?
Yes, you can load whatever amount you would like to put on a gift card! When creating a gift card, select the amount you would like to put on the gift card. You can also load the exact amount for a specific activity by creating a custom amount!
Do Gift Cards Expire?
No, gift cards do not expire! Once they are loaded with the correct amount of money, they can be used at any time! Prices may change based on the time that a gift card is purchased so please inquire if you are unsure of how much money is on a gift card.
Are there restaurants in the park area?
Most of the parks do not have restaurants directly in the park so we recommend that you bring any food that you may need with you. Most parks do sell drinks and snacks. Our staff can always recommend restaurants near by if you ask them!
Can I take my dog into the park?
It's usually best to leave your dog at home, but quiet, well-behaved dogs, that are on a leash are permitted in some areas. We do ask that a non-participating adult always remains with your dog, and it never really works for several participants to take turns watching a dog. Please keep in mind that some people are not comfortable with dogs and may be asked to leave the area if people are not comfortable. Please note that dogs are not permitted in Treewalk Village or uplå, and you are not allowed to carry your dog on any of our activity features. If you or someone in your group has a support dog, please call us to discuss special arrangements so you can enjoy your visit.
What are the customer requirements?
This depends on each of our activities: Discovery climbers must be 5 years old and 45 inches in height while people for the Zipline & Aerial Game Trek must be 9 years old and 55 inches in height. Customers must also be under 250 lbs to climb and must fit into our harnesses. Waivers must be filled out for each individual participating as well.
What should I wear?
It is recommended that customers wear athletic, comfortable clothing. They must also wear closed-toe shoes. We recommend that you dress accordingly for the weather as activities go rain or shine and bring extra layers!
Do I need gloves? If so, what kind?
Gloves are recommended for the Zipline & Aerial Game Trek as well as in the Discovery Course. We usually sell gloves on site if customers are interested, but you are welcome to bring some from home. Tight fitting gloves like a cycling glove, or simple gardening gloves will do the trick!
Is a ticket required if I want to watch my friends/family climb?
This depends on the activity. For the Discovery and Zipline & Aerial Game Trek, one does not need to purchase a ticket to watch. For Treewalk Village and uplå, tickets are required as the area is enclosed in a fence.
Can I bring my own climbing equipment?
No, customers must use our gear as it is regulated by the TSSA and is checked and cleaned daily.
What should I bring for my excursion?
For all activities, closed toed shoes like running shoes are required, and a waiver must be completed for each guest. We also recommend that all customers come with a water bottle and snacks for their activity. They can take breaks as needed. Sunscreen and bug spray are also advised but must be put on before getting harnessed.
What equipment is provided?
For most activities a climbing harness and a helmet are provided and will be secured by a staff member on site. Please wear closed-toe shoes. Gloves are recommended and sold on site if needed.
When should I arrive?
Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled activity time for our staff to check you in and get your group started on time. Late arrivals may be moved to the next available time slot.
When does the park open?
Our main operating season is from April until mid-November; however, some parks are open year-round. Opening times per park are based off their booking schedule so book in advance! Click the book now button for specific dates and times.
What is the cancellation policy?
We require 48 hours notice to cancel a booking and 24 hours notice to reschedule a booking. Please call or email the office to do so!
Where can I put my belongings?
There are picnic benches and cubbies around the parks, however, we recommend that you lock any valuables in your car as we are not liable if anything is stolen. We cannot hold items in our office as well.
What happens if there is bad weather?
We do climb rain or shine, but in the case of thunderstorms and high winds, we must close the park down for a minimum of 30 minutes before we can deem it safe to resume climbs. If it is not safe to resume activities, rain cheques will be offered, or guests will be able to reschedule their booking(s) at the office. Please dress appropriately for the weather and check the weather ahead of time if you wish to reschedule.

Is there a waiver that I need to sign?
Each guest, including minors must have a waiver filled out with their name and age on it, and all minors must have their waiver signed by a legal guardian. Our waivers can be found at our website: https://treetoptrekking.com/waiver/
Do younger climbers need to be supervised during the activity?
We require that anyone under the age of 17 be supervised by an adult over the age of 18. The ratio for adult supervision is 1 adult for every 6 youth.
What payment options are available?
We accept most major credit cards to secure bookings online and over the phone. At the parks we also accept debit and cash. Everyone must pay ahead of time when they book over the phone or online.
Can I add a spot to my reservation last minute?
Last minute additions may be feasible if spaces remain, but you must contact the park by phone beforehand to add additional people to your booking.
Do I need to create a booking?
Yes, we do recommend that you book ahead of time as we cannot guarantee that there will be spots available for walk-ins.

Are Night Climbs included in my seasons pass?
Yes, Night Treks are now included! Minimum 12 years of age to climb at night.
Do I need to complete an orientation each time I go to a park?
Yes, seasons pass holders must complete an orientation each time they go to a park but they are allowed to fast track it by going first.

Can I use my Zipline & Aerial Game Trek Seasons Pass on the new Ziptour in 1000 Islands or Blue Heron in Brampton?
Yes, Ziptours are included in the seasons Pass but must be pre-booked ahead of time.
What activities can I use my seasons pass on?
Seasons passes are activity specific; we offer Seasons Passes for both the Discovery Course and the Zipline & Aerial Game Trek.
How do I purchase a seasons pass?
Anyone can purchase a seasons pass at the park or online.
Should I buy a seasons pass if I've already visited?
Yes, you should! If you buy your pass within 24 hours of a visit, you can apply the amount you already paid for that individual towards a seasons pass. To receive this please ask while still at the park or call within 24 hours.
Are there discounts on seasons passes?
There are 2 types of discounted season pass rates. The first is if you purchase before April 1st of that year, up until this date we offer an early bird discount. The second type of discount is available any time and applies if you are buying 4 or more seasons passes on one order.
Is the seasons pass transferable?
No, seasons passes can only be used by the person they were originally purchased for. We verify your identity each time you visit.
How does the seasons pass work?
You can use your seasons pass to climb at all of the parks where the activity is offered, that you purchased the pass for. You use it for as many visits as you like throughout the season and are asked to make a booking for each visit.
Is there a safety orientation before I climb?
Each climber must complete a safety orientation before they are allowed to climb in our courses. They must complete a trust-fall as well as maneuver throughout the small orientation in order to learn how to climb the courses safety! These are run by our trained Guides for each timeslot.
Will all the courses be open at the parks when I visit?
We cannot guarantee that all the courses will be open at a park, but this will not limit a climber's experience! We can also not guarantee that customers will complete all the courses in the allotted 3-hours.
What can prohibit someone from participating in the Zipline & Aerial Courses?
Pregnant women are not allowed to climb any of our courses and if we suspect that someone is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, we will refuse you from participating in the courses for safety reasons. We may also not permit someone to climb if they are acting in an unsafe manner.
What are the harness dimensions?
Waist = 45 inches/Thigh = 26 inches. These must be tightened by at least one inch.
Is there a maximum weight requirement?
Customers must not exceed the weight limit of 250 lbs.
How long do I have to complete the aerial courses?
All customers receive three hours to climb the courses.
Can I skip a course, or must I complete all the courses in order?
Typically, climbers must complete the courses in order of difficulty from beginner up to advanced. They must also have a guide’s approval after each course in order to climb the next one, and we do not guarantee that guests will climb every course during their visit.
How many aerial courses are there?
This is a park specific question, but most parks have five - six courses to complete within a three hour time span. They range in intensity from beginner to advanced/extreme.
What are the guest requirements for the advanced courses?
Guests must be a minimum of 12 years old and 60" tall to participate in the Advanced Courses. They must also receive a guide’s approval to climb.
What are the guest requirements for the Zipline/Aerial Courses?
Guests must be a minimum of 9 years old and at least 55" tall to participate in the Zipline & Aerial Game Trek. Guest must also weigh less than 250lbs.
Can I do the zipline only?
At most parks the ziplines are mixed in with the other aerial games/ bridges. Some parks do offer zip tours that are mainly ziplines. Check out our Ziptour in the 1000 Islands, or Blue Heron ziplines in Brampton.
What is the Zipline & Aerial Game Trek?
The Zipline & Aerial Game Trek is a ropes course that is roughly 30-60 feet off of the ground depending on the location. There are games and ziplines scattered throughout the courses that climbers must maneuver through, such as suspension bridges, balance logs, Tarzan swings, ziplines, and other fun aerial games.
Are the Discovery Courses Good for anyone that meets the basic activity requirements?

What is the difference between the Discovery Course and the Aerial & Zipline Course?
Discovery is a smaller course for children who do not meet the height/age requirement of the Zipline & Aerial Course. It is similar to the Aerial Courses in the sense that there are still games and ziplines, but it is only 5 feet off of the ground.
Is there a safety orientation before I climb?
Each climber must complete a safety orientation before they are allowed to climb the courses. This is run by our Rangers who will teach all climbers how to safely maneuver throughout the courses!
How long do I have to complete the discovery courses?
All customers receive 1.5 hours to climb the courses. Most kids will repeat each course several times.
Can adults climb the Discovery Course?
Adults cannot climb the Discovery Course unless they have a child with special needs that requires assistance. The park must be notified of this requirement in advance.
What are the customer requirements for the Discovery Course?
Climbers must be a minimum of 5 years old and 45" tall to climb.
How many discovery courses are there to complete?
This is a park specific question, but the majority of the parks have 2-3 courses to climb.
How long do I have in Treewalk Village?
Each booking has 2 hours within the village where they can roam around the enclosed area!
Can pregnant women go into Treewalk Village?
Pregnant women are allowed in the village but are not permitted to go up into the treehouses or rope bridges for safety reasons. They must supervise from the ground.
Can I bring my stroller into the Village?
Strollers are allowed in Treewalk Village but keep in mind that the ground can be uneven in places! We do our best to mulch the area but please maneuver safely.
What is Treewalk Village?
Treewalk Village is an enclosed park where children and adults can explore treehouses and rope bridges! Step into a colorful, enchanting world of miniature wooden fortresses, winding slides, sturdy rope bridges, and towering hammocks — high in the trees. There are also ground activities such as rock walls and zip-chairs for people to try.
Do I need to pay to enter?
Yes, there is an entrance fee for guests ages 3 - 64. Children 2 and under and seniors 65 and over can enter at no charge. There must be one paying adult and one paying child for every booking though, even if the only adult is 65+.
Why do I need to pay to enter Treewalk Village even if I am just watching?
Treewalk Village is an enclosed area with a capacity limit where anyone can go up into the treehouses! Due to the limited capacity in the area, everyone must purchase a ticket to use the premises.
Where do I book uplå?

What is uplå?
uplå is a series of nets and bridges suspended in the trees that guests can bounce and play in. This world of nets includes a massive network of interconnected trampolines, connected slides; ramps; and forest pathways.
How long do I have in uplå?
uplå experiences are 2-hours long.
Why must I pay to enter uplå even if I do not plan to go on the course?
uplå is an enclosed area with a capacity limit! Due to these reasons, guests must pay to enter the area and enjoy the premises.

What are the customer requirements?
Guests must be a minimum of 7 years old to participate in uplå and must wear appropriate clothing, such as longer shirts and bottoms and closed-toe shoes. Long hair must also be tied back and guests must not wear any kind of jewelry.
How much does a night trek cost?
It costs $69 + hst per person to participate in a night trek. Night treks must be pre-booked online or over the phone!
Can I book a private night trek?
Yes, you can book a night trek that is not opened to the public, but you must contact the park ahead of time so that they can plan accordingly!
Why does the Hamilton park not offer night treks?
Our Hamilton park does not offer night treks as there are endangered wildlife, such as bats, in the forest that would be harmed with night treks.
What are guest requirements for night treks?
Guests must be a minimum of 12 years old and 60 inches in height in order to participate in a night trek. They must also fill out a waiver for each participant and wear close-toe shoes and appropriate clothing for the trek!
What is a night trek?
A night trek is similar to our Zipline & Aerial Game Trek but it happens in the night time! This allows for a cool experience like no other as you traverse through the courses in the dead of night.
What is the difference between buying a party package and booking a group rate?
A typical party package, which is offered at some parks, includes a table rental, a t-shirt, and a minimum of 10-12 people while the group rate only includes the admission to the area.
Is there something special for birthdays?
For most activities we invite the birthday person to participate at no cost, if they are coming with at least 5 paying guests. Please call the park to make this type of booking.
Can I rent a picnic table for my birthday party?
Yes, picnic table rentals are an option for an additional fee at some parks. Please call the park to inquire.
How many chaperones are required for a School/Youth Group?
We require 1 chaperone for every 10 youth. The chaperone must be over the age of 18 years.
How many people need to be in a school group/youth group to receive the promotion?
There must be a minimum of 20 participants in order to receive the School/Youth Group rate.
Can I bring a school group to Treetop Trekking?
Yes, our parks offer many activities that are wonderful for school trips. We offer activities for all ages and are open through much of the school year.
Do you offer corporate group activities?
Yes, we offer several options for corporate adventures that range in length of time as well as adventure level, from Aerial Team Building Adventures, to Call to the Wild Ground Games. Can I have a private guide with my group to help us out?
We do offer guides for groups for an additional fee. Please contact the park in order to secure a private guide!
Is there a paper waiver I can get my youth group to sign?
Yes, while most people use our digital online waiver, we do have a paper waiver that can be signed on site or emailed to you from the park. Simply contact the park to receive the waiver!
My school group is not allowed to sign your waiver, will you allow us to climb with our informed consent document?
We do allow school groups to sign our informed consent waiver and we sometimes allow school groups to climb with their informed consent. This must be expressed in advance to the manager in order for our legal team to review these documents.
Can I book the entire course for my birthday party?
We do accept private reservations but you must contact the park ahead of time in order to receive a quote.
Can I bring a piñata or tent into Treewalk Village?
Unfortunately, we cannot have piñatas or tents in Treewalk Village as it is an enclosed area with living trees.
Can I come in early to Treewalk Village to set up my birthday party?
No, the picnic table is reserved for the allotted time.
