Treetop Trekking is looking for friendly and enthusiastic individuals, who love the outdoors and interacting with the public, to join our team for the upcoming season. We do the bulk of our hiring in the spring, but continue to hire on an as needed basis throughout the year, so its always a good time to apply!
As a Ranger you and your co-workers will supervise our Treewalk Village, uplå, or Discovery Course activities. You will make the difference between someone having a good visit and a great visit!

Who we are looking for:
- You are energetic, love interacting with the public, and providing excellent customer service
- You love being part of a hard-working team, and bring a positive attitude with you wherever you go
- You don’t mind getting your hands dirty, and working rain or shine
- You can perform light physical work such as lifting, bending, and climbing for long periods of time
- You have or are willing to get your First Aid and CPR certification
- It is a bonus if you have visited one of our parks or worked at a similar operation
- It is an asset if you have experience working in outdoor education or guiding
- You are at least 14 years old
- Employees 18 and over are required to undergo a Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check, which will be conducted by the employer
Responsibilities as a Ranger:
- Provide exceptional customer service to every guest from the moment they arrive until the moment they leave
- Supervise activity areas to ensure guests are following all safety rules
- Ensure our parks are in excellent shape, that they are clean, and that the surrounding natural environment is being respected
- Support guests while they are participating in our activities and be on the lookout for ways that you can make each guests visit as memorable as possible
- Help ensure the safety of our guests and your co-workers
- Work with other team members to create a positive and cohesive work environment
For most of our parks, our operating season runs from April until October and we have flexible start dates and contract lengths. Note that our 1000 Islands opens in early May.
