General Safety

Customer safety is priority #1 at Treetop Trekking (fun is a close #2).

We use the industries most up to date safety equipment. These harnesses and helmets are inspected and washed between each use. We do require that customers only use the equipment that we provide, and for liability reasons you are not permitted to bring your own equipment.

Our aerial courses are designed with customer safety in mind, and go through a vigorous morning inspection before each operating day.

The start of each visit begins with a safety orientation. This is where our guides make sure you are comfortable with how your safety equipment works, and show you how to travel safely through the aerial courses.

What to Wear

We always tell our guests to dress comfortable and to dress for the weather. Think about what you might wear if you were to go for a hike on the day of your visit.

Multiple athletic layers are best to allow you to  regulate your temperature.

Remember to bring plenty of drinks to keep you hydrated, and snacks to keep you energized!

Closed toed shoes like running shoes or hiking shoes are required. We do not allow people to participate in our activities if they are wearing sandals or Crocs.

Please bring an elastic to tie back long hair.

Dress for the weather. We climb rain or shine, so a rain jacket is a good idea if there is a chance of rain. The only time we can’t climb is in the event of thunderstorms and extremely high winds.

We highly recommend that you bring plenty of water or sports drinks to keep you hydrated during your activity, and snacks to keep you energized.
