Put your sense of direction and creative thinking to the test with this unique, interactive treasure hunt through the trees. Armed with only a GPS unit, a compass, and clues, you and your crew will be challenged to find strategically placed coordinates throughout the forest and solve riddles to earn points along the way. Rally around a new kind of fun — a technology-driven trekking adventure.

What to Expect

Who is this activity for?

The GPS Rally is for explorers who like to solve riddles and find hidden clues! It is a great activity for a group of people, such as a corporate group, school group, scout group, or friends! 

Customer Journey

This activity lasts for approximately 1-hour.

Here is what to expect for your journey: 

  1. Make a reservation ahead of time
  2. Complete online waiver for each guest
  3. Arrive at the park 30 minutes before your start time
  4. Check-in at our office
  5. Receive instuctrions from a staff member on how to use the GPS systems and where to locate the hidden clues
  6. Enjoy the scavenger hunt in the midst of nature! 
  7. Once you have finished, head back to our office to receive a certificate of completion and to pick up any souvenirs or snacks.

Need to Know

This activity can be modified for younger ages, please message the park beforehand to modify the activity! 

This activity is recommended for ages 5+, but can be completed by younger participants with the help of an adult. 

Adults must accompany any group of children during the GPS Rally but do not need to participate if they do not wish to. 

Adult Accompaniment

All minors must have adults present in the park during their activities. The adults don't have to participate in the activity, but must be present in the activity area at all times. 

  • Ages 5-17 require an adult (18+) present on site at all times (1 adult for every 6 youth)

What to Bring

Required: 

  • Closed toed shoes like running shoes (no crocs or sandals)
  • Long hair tied back

Recommended: 

  • Comfortable athletic clothing

Other things to bring: 

  • Completed waiver (online)
  • Snacks and drinks (usually available for purchase)
  • Phone or camera to take pictures
  • Please leave all valuables at home or locked in your car

What happens in bad weather?

Our activities proceed rain, snow or shine so please dress for the weather.

If there is a thunderstorm, or high winds we may have to postpone your activity. In most cases the activity can resume that same day, but if this extreme weather continues, we may have reschedule you to another day. 

If you are concerned about the forecast on the day of your visit, please call the park you are visiting well ahead of time to discuss the options available. 

Reservations and Waivers

We strongly recommend that you make a reservation for this activity, because there are many days when we sell out, or don't have spaces available. 

The easiest and fastest way to make a reservation is online using the Book Now button. If your group has special requirements, you can also book by phone, by calling the park directly. 

 

A liability waiver must be completed ahead of time for each participant in the group. Each minor must have a waiver completed for them, and signed by a parent or guardian. Once you have made a reservation, you will receive a link to the online waiver by email. Please forward this email to all group members.
